A Simple Christmas – A Simple Song (Luke 1:46-56)

In A Simple Christmas by Maryam Nejad

A stable would seem like an unlikely place from which to begin a world-shaking revolution.  When you read the “Magnificat,” you are reading the words of a young girl who has been chosen by God to bring the Messiah into the world.  An unlikely girl, of the hated Jewish race, in a forgotten province in the Roman Empire, sings a Simple Song that turns the values of the world upside-down.
