Harvest Care

Providing care for the needy in our community

God hasn’t just given this church a place to meet, but he has planted us in one of the most diverse cities in the world, his desire is that we work hard to reach the communities around us and give care for the needy.

Galatians 6:10 says: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

The care ministry exists to provide our members an opportunity to live out the Great Commission. We currently collect groceries once a month that we then deliver to some families we have adopted in one of the most dangerous areas of the city.

We collect and distribute:

  • Rice in 5kg or 10kg bags
  • Regular Flour
  • Salt
  • Atta Flour
  • Potatos
  • Milo
  • Condensed Milk
  • Curry Powder
  • Instant Noodles
  • Mee Hoon
  • Milk Powder for Babies

  • Donating Food— Buy extra in your next grocery trip and bring it to church on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Collection spots for non-perishable food items are located at the back of Seng Peng Hall during worship.
  • Delivering Food— This is a great opportunity to make our ministry personal by delivering monthly and ministering in word and deed to families in our church body and community. Food are delivered on the 2nd Saturday of the month, the same week of collection.

We believe God uses the circumstances of life to draw people to Himself.
