What can we do to merit God’s righteousness? How can we grow into a deeper and more alive and transformed relationship with Jesus? In the first part of Philippians 3, Paul encourages everyone to recognize what is treasure and what is not. If we want to go into a deeper relationship with Jesus, a relationship that is alive and transformed by Jesus, we must first recognize what is more important and what is not. We gain Christ when we give up what is not important.
