Abraham in Genesis 12 was called by God, and since then his life has been having ups and downs with progressions and regressions in his faith and his walk with God. Yet in Hebrews 11 Abraham is mentioned as the model of faith and one could question Abraham’s faith because of the many times he failed in his faith starting from Genesis 12 to Genesis 22; or maybe he eventually gets there! In this passage God puts Abraham to the test. Will he be faithful? Will he pass the test?
