Often when we sing, “Christ is enough for me” I find myself wondering if I really believe this. If all I had was Christ, would that be enough? If I didn’t mix my trust in Christ with anything else, and it was really true that “Christ + nothing = everything,” would I be satisfied and whole? The letter to the Colossians was written to confront the false idea that we need more than Jesus Christ…the One who is GREATER THAN.
